Obama calls Tomlin, Rooney

In addition to the typical presidential call to the Super Bowl winning team, President Barack Obama dialed up the runners-up Tuesday. According to a White House spokesman, Obama called Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and his ambassador:
[Tuesday] afternoon, President Obama called Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin to congratulate him and the team on their remarkable season. He asked Coach Tomlin to pass along how impressed he was with the team’s effort to come back and nearly overcome their first-half deficit in the Super Bowl. The President also called Ambassador Dan Rooney to congratulate him on the team’s season and told him he looks forward to seeing him around St. Patrick’s Day.
