Pete Sessions, the head of the National Republican Congressional Committee -- the folks who helped bring Pa five new GOP members of Congress last year -- is the keynote speaker at the GOP's Lincoln Dinner in Harrisburg Friday night. Tom Corbett leads the slate of speakers at the GOP Winter Meetings when they resume Saturday morning.

HARRISBURG – On Friday and Saturday, February 11^th and 12^th, 2011, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania will be holding our Winter Meeting at the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers.

Our party is pleased to host a Judicial Candidates Forum which will be aired live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network. Candidates seeking our party's endorsement for Superior and Commonwealth Court will have the opportunity to answer questions and describe their vision for Pennsylvania's courts.

At our party's Lincoln Day Dinner on Friday, U.S. Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX) will be our featured keynote speaker.  Sessions, who also serves as Chairman of the National Congressional Campaign Committee, led the fight to win a new Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. On Saturday, State Party members will hear from Chairman Rob Gleason, Governor Tom Corbett, Congressman Bill Shuster (PA-9) and many other party leaders and elected officials. We will also show a brief video message from U.S. Senator Pat Toomey.
