Rove group targets Critz in ads
Doesn't Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS know -- like Johnstown does -- that Mark Critz's district could get terminated in congressional redistricting? We don't know who the conservative group's funders are -- like other 501c4's, it doesn't have to disclose them -- but maybe their money could be used more wisely. (God knows there are plenty of other Pa Dems to attack -- just ask the NRCC.)
Crossroads began running radio ads in the 12th District today urging Critz not to vote for Obama's budget (aka the "Obama-Pelosi" budget in the ad). The ads attack Critz and 11 other swing-district Democrats, while praising Republicans such as Lou Barletta. The Critz buy was for $30,000 -- the advocacy group's third-largest buy nationwide -- and for Barletta $12,000. More details at the Crossroads website here.
