Dahlkemper details calls
Kathy Dahlkemper's office has received "a number" of threatening communications over her HRC vote but only one (which was faxed to a DA's office) is being investigated by law enforcement.
From her press office:
“Regrettably, my office has received a number of emails, letters, faxes and phone calls that are threatening or menacing in nature as a result of my vote in favor of health care reform. Most of these communications cannot be sourced; while some are coming from Western Pennsylvania, the majority of these inappropriate communications do not originate from my constituents.
“On March 23, a threatening letter addressed to me was received by the Armstrong County Commissioner’s office where my office holds Constituent Office Hours twice a month. The Armstrong County District Attorney’s office notified my staff and filed a report. I appreciate the actions of the Armstrong County District Attorney’s office and respectfully request that the media do not contact their office for further information on the matter. No other threatening communications to my office have resulted in investigation by law enforcement.
