More endorsements
We mentioned the endorsement war in the county exec race earlier today -- we should mention the Chartiers Valley group that gave their nod to MP Flaherty also endorsed Chelsa Wagner for controller (after three votes) and Michael Marmo for county judge.

The Chartiers Valley Democratic Chairs Organization on Sunday endorsed candidates for Allegheny County chief executive, controller, and judge, Janine Palmer, the group's newly elected chair, announced today.
Palmer, chair of the Green Tree Democratic Committee, said county Controller Mark Patrick Flaherty received the organization's endorsement on the first round of voting, 18-8 over county Council President Rich Fitzgerald. An endorsement from the group requires a super-majority. The organization is comprised of Democratic Committee chairs from 31 municipalities west and south of Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh Wards 27 and 28.
State Rep. Chelsa Wagner won the group's endorsement for controller, on the third round of voting in a tight contest between Wagner, Valerie McDonald Roberts and George Matta.
The organization endorsed Michael Marmo for Allegheny County Common Pleas judge.
The Chartiers Valley Democratic Chairs Organization, created in the 1970s, includes Democratic Committee chairs from Baldwin, Baldwin Township, Bethel Park, Brentwood, Bridgeville, Carnegie, Castle Shannon, Collier, Coraopolis, Cresant, Dormont, Findlay, Forward, Franklin Park, Green Tree, Kennedy, McKees Rocks, Moon, Mt. Lebanon, Neville Twp, O'Hara Twp, Robinson Twp, Rosslyn Farms, South Park, Thornberg, Upper St. Clair, and Whitehall, as weel as wards 27 and 28 from the City of Pittsburgh.
