Toomey opens Pgh office

US Sen Pat Toomey has opened a Pittsburgh office and named a SWPa coordinator, Jonathan Raso, who worked for the Keith Rothfus congressional campaign. (Toomey and Rothfus have ties going back to the Allentown man's run against Specter in 2004.)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) announced the opening of his Senate office in Pittsburgh.

Led by Western Pennsylvania Director Matt Blackburn, the Pittsburgh office will serve southwestern Pennsylvania, including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

"I am very proud of our efforts to get our state offices up and running so that we can serve the people of Pennsylvania," Sen. Toomey said. "My staff and I are committed to working hard to help Pennsylvanians and address their concerns and needs in a timely manner."

Sen. Toomey also announced the hiring of Jonathan Raso as his southwest regional director. Raso, previously the finance director for Keith Rothfus' 2010 campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives, is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster.
