Our friends at PoliticsPA caught up with Sam Rohrer -- the tea party favorite who ran a no-shot GOP gubernatorial primary against Tom Corbett and now heads the state's Americans for Prosperity chapter -- to ask him if he might take a run at Sen. Bob Casey. (Video is above.)
Told that grassroots activists and online chatter are discussing a Rohrer for Senate campaign (especially considering the GOP's weak bench), Rohrer said he has heard some of the same discussion himself, but he's focused on AFP. Asked about ruling out a run, he responds: "I'm not going to rule out any potential future run for office. That's going to be something I'm going to be dealing with as we approach it."
