Daily Santorum, 3/17/11
Things are mostly quiet on the Santorum front today, which is weird, because the former senator/congressman is actually back in the Pittsburgh area today.
Pausing his whirlwind of Iowa/New Hampshire/South Carolina trips, Santorum speaks tonight at the Fayette County Republican Committee's Lincoln Day Dinner in Uniontown.
And from the bad news about an opponent is good news for me department, it seems RS is not the only guy with a Google problem. Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour has one too, according to Slate: when putting his name into the search engine field seven of the nine automatic fill-in terms relate to questions about his civil rights record.
On a national level there's still talk about his comments on church and state matters (previewed in the P-G months ago by Dan Malloy). Locally, Dayvoe at 2 Political Junkies wonders why it's ok to mix religion and government here in the U.S., but not in Islamic countries.
