Alex Roarty of National Journal (and formerly PoliticsPa) says today that Ed Stack, the CEO of Pgh-based Dick's Sporting Goods, is calling around gauging interest in a GOP Senate run against Bob Casey. GOP leaders are skeptical that he'll really do it though.

Other possible candidates include former Santorum staffer Marc Scaringi, state Sen. Jake Corman and tea partier Laureen Cummings.
