After all that redistricting talk yesterday, here's more to contemplate -- will the GOP give Mike Kelly's PA3 more Republicans (perhaps from Altmire's district) and if so will that make things harder on Democrats trying to recapture it?

Kathy Dahlkemper, whom Kelly beat in November, won't be able to wait until the lines are drawn to decide -- she's already talked to the DCCC and the Erie Dem chairman about a run, she tells the hometown Times-News. She needs to start fundraising (and taking on Kelly) a lot sooner:

"Is this the best way for me to continue to serve the community that I love so much? I'm trying to make the best decision for me and my (former) constituents,'' she said.

. . . She announced in October 2007 when she ran in the 2008 election cycle. "Waiting until fall would put me or anyone else at a great disadvantage,'' she said.
