Capitol partially closed for third day
From Tracie Mauriello:
The Capitol building was open today after a two-day closure due to a water main break in downtown Harrisburg, but parts of the complex including the State Museum were closed.
Bathrooms in the building are still closed because toilets don't flush and state employees have been advised to bring their own water to work.
Non-essential employees were sent home around 1 p.m. for the third straight day.
Vacuous hallways and canceled committee meetings suggest that many stayed home today.
Fear not, the P-G's dedicated Capitol duo could not be scared off by the lack of running water and working toilets. You're covered if any news should happen to break out in the ghost town.
