12th a dead heat; Obama unpopular

Published by Tim McNulty on .

A poll from a conservative group shows a dead heat between Tim Burns and Mark Critz in the 12th District special -- while agreeing with these results yesterday from Public Policy Polling that Obama's approval rating in the district hovers around 30%.

From the WashPost's Chris Cillizza:

A poll conducted for the conservative American Action Network shows businessman Tim Burns (R) and former congressional aide Mark Critz (D) in a dead heat with less than a month remaining in their special election race in Pennsylvania's 12th district.

Critz take 40 percent to 39 percent for Burns, according to the survey conducted by Republican pollster John McLaughlin and obtained by the Fix.
