Radio talker, tea party activist and businessman Glen Meakem endorsed Keith Rothfus over Mary Beth Buchanan in the 4th District primary today. From the Rothfus campaign:

Pittsburgh entrepreneur and civic leader Glen Meakem today urged Republican voters to join him in supporting Republican Keith Rothfus in his campaign for Congress in the Fourth District.  Meakem was the featured speaker at a fund-raiser for Rothfus in downtown Pittsburgh.

“As Congress spends trillions of dollars we do not have and the Obama Administration crafts an ever-larger role for government in the economy and in the lives of citizens, the need for elected officials who understand how the economy really works has never been greater.

“Keith Rothfus has the clarity of vision and commitment to principle that we need in Washington.  The same laws of economics that shaped the Reagan Revolution and led to two decades of economic growth remain in force today.  Keith understands that, and he will be an effective advocate for common sense and fiscal responsibility in Washington.
