Clinton call for Critz

Former President Bill Clinton appeared at a rally Sunday with Mark Critz -- the Democrat running for John Murtha's seat -- and now voters in the 12th district are getting a dose of Slick Willie at home in the form of a robocall paid for by the DCCC. "Like Congressman Jack Murtha before him, Mark’s top priority will be to create jobs in Western Pennsylvania and he’ll always stand up for seniors and for the middle class," Clinton says on the call (listen to audio here).
Though he doesn't mention Republican Tim Burns by name, Clinton says Critz will fight those who look to ship jobs overseas or privatize Social Security -- two main attack lines that the Dems have been using against Burns, as Dennis Roddy writes today, with questionable legitimacy.
UPDATE: Here's Roddy's Web story as he follows Critz on the campaign trail today -- trailed by a chorus of adolescent Burns supporters.
