BBC interviews P-G on PA12
As the national and international press descended on Johnstown this weekend for a look at the first -- and only -- congressional election on the ballot, the British Broadcasting Corporation spent an afternoon with the Post-Gazette's Dennis Roddy.
Roddy was a 20-year-old journalist and still in college when voters first sent John P. Murtha to Congress. In this story broadcast/posted by the BBC today, he told the network about how the 12th District reflects -- and doesn't reflect -- the rest of the nation.
